Party in the Poconos 400, part of the Nascar Sprint Cup Series returns to Pocono Raceway this weekend. (6/7/13 to 6/9/13)
PARTY IN THE POCONOS 400, is the new name voted on by the public for this year’s Pocono 400 Nascar race in June 2013 at Pocono Raceway.
If you recall I had blogged awhile back about helping to name this year’s Pocono 400 Race.This was quite a unique opportunity for the general public and many participated.
This years "PARTY IN THE POCONOS 400" is presented by Walmart.
The Race takes place over three days, Friday June 7th through Sunday, June 9th, 2013. The race begins at 1pm on Sunday and there will be loads of fun pre-race activities going on Friday and Saturday for your enjoyment and racing pleasure.
As a reminder to those in the area Sunday before the race and then later in the day after the race lets out, traffic is bogged down for miles around the Raceway so you may want to avoid the area during those times or allow yourself plenty of time to get where you are going.
