FHA Condo Approvals – HUD Offices Closed Nationwide

HUD announced to the public that it will close its offices on Friday, June 14 due to government spending cuts that took effect on March 1, 2013.

The other scheduled closures will be on:

·        Friday, July 5

·        Monday, July 22

·        Friday, August 2

·        Friday, August 16

·        Friday, August 30

These days are furlough days and HUD employees are restricted from doing agency-related activities.  This will delay the response time for condominium approval packages and to phone and email inquiries by 2-3 days, according to HUD.
