Different Strokes for different folks!

I read a blog today from a Realtor who was trying to figure out what they could do in Real Estate to change up their career.  Something new and different.  Whow, everyday is different when you work in Real Estate.  You could work in residential, in commercial, you could specialize in subdividing large parcels of land or market horse farms.  I can not discuss all of these but I will touch on International sales. One way to continue to expand your sphere of buyers is to reach out worldwide.  In the past year I have worked with several buyers from different countries.  Very interesting is not close to the excitement of helping people acheive their dream of owning in our wonderful United States of America.  There are several courses that lead to different certifications or designations that will help you in this area.  The Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) is a three to six hour course that can be taken on the internet or in a classroom.  It is a great introduction to International Real Estate.  A great designation to work towards is the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS).  It is a series of courses that teach you about real estate throughout the world as well as about currency and so much more. Start expanding your horizons today.  You will enjoy it!

I have never had two days the same since I've been in real estate, every day is a winding road, a new adventure.  No two houses are the same, no two deals are the same and no two buyers are the same.  What's to change up?

Cheryl,  Tell me more!  I've been trying to figure out how to get into the International sales. I started thinking about this when I was looking at properties in Tuscany. I was thinking of buying something there but after doing a conversion on the dollar and Euro, I couldn't believe the difference. That's when I said to my self.... Hemmm...I've got to find some international buyers for my properties.  They would be getting a deal for this property. So, what can you tell me????? I live in the beautiful mountains of Western NC.

Thanks, Jodi Neal - Keller Williams Mountain Partners - Lake Lure, Hendersonville, and Rutherford County,NC.

Jodi,

Log in to NAR and get the information on the TRC and CIPS courses closest to you and just start toward your goal.  The TRC can actually be taken on line.  Have fun with it!  A great book to read is "Kiss, Bow or Shake Hands"  it will get you moving toward acheiving the TRC or CIPS or both.

I agree 100% with you!  Everyday is a new adventure.  The blog was in response to one I had read recently regarding keeping everything new, everyday.
