The Housing Crunch

By
Real Estate Agent with Astro Realty (Buyer Agency)
The media is saying the housing crunch is to blame for the down market.  Yes there is alot of truth to this because of the loose lending and overpricing that went on. But I also believe that the oil prices, prices of food and energy is to blame. If they would reduce the prices of our necessary things we need to survive then maybe the housing market would flourish again. Most people in the United States need to learn again how to live within their means. The keeping up with the Jones must be vanished if we are to survive. Not only do people need to live within our means Our Goverment Needs to do it as well. We cannot just keep making money!! What is your thoughts??

Overconsumption!! Due to the huge advertising train. Lack of conscious when making purchases. I recently read that when people paid attention to where their items were made, or grown, they were helping improve their state economy.

For instance, buying your produce from your own state or clothing for your child that was made in America. We buy everything from China, retail stores like Walmart force their wholesalers to purchase goods at the lowest price possible, where do you think that would be? That whole deal has to stop. There was a two hour special on Walmart on cable, but I can't remember what channel, I could not believe the pressure that they put on, many times, small business owners to reduce their prices and suggest suppliers in China, Nice..

I live in Detroit Metropolitan area and GM is closing their powertrain plants next week, for a city already falling apart, it is about to get really worse. But, like I tell my 3 year old, CHIN-UP everybody loves a Happy Face!!
