Joseph Scavo Park, one of the redesigned parks in Hallandale Beach, will have its grand opening on April 5, Saturday at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The $2.6 million redesigned park, which is located in 900 Three Islands Boulevard, features two off-leash dog parks, one each for small and large breeds, a basketball court, walking trail with exercise stations, a new covered playground, pasive covered sitting areas and restrooms. The park was designed by the architectural and engineering firm of Bemello Ajamil & Partners and construction is managed by contractor Burkhardt Construction Inc.The park projects are part of the City's award winning Community Benefit plan.
