Websites

Websites are a great way to promote your property as 80% of all homebuyers start on the web.  So, how do you know if your website is working for you?? How many leads should a Realtor get off of their websites??  I would love some insight on this subject...

How do you know in other words that your website is paying off??

I have bult all of my sites from scratch... rather than using a 'canned' solution.  I have gotten a lot of leads from my websties, and from my BLOGS!  I think the biggest factor is to be relevant.

I do my own website and have never paid for any advertising.  I just add a link to each of my blogs and websites where ever I can.  I also exchange links with everyone I can.  Keep blogging and keep reading.  Information is what people want these days too.  I ask everyone who calls me where they heard of me.  That helps keep track.

I have a few blogs right now and I get decent traffic, I think.  I can't tell you how many leads you should get for any given time, but I'm of the opinion that if you're getting any leads from something you're doing online, you're on the right track.  Especially being in SoDak.   The only thing I will suggest is to keep bloggin' and if you want to check out a tool I think is great, go to google and type in Google Analytics.  It's a great and FREE program that tracks and informs you about your visitors on blogs and websites.  Just FYI...and best of luck.
