Do you want to make sure your home is safe over the holiday season?

Remember your furry friends and kids during the holidays. They are interested in all the shiny glass ornaments. Keep those up high and out of reach! Keep mistletoe, poinsettas and holly berries away as they can be toxic if ingested.

Check your lights before plugging in for frayed wires or bad sockets. Make sure you use a sturdy ladder on a flat surface before hanging outdoor lights and garlands.

Clean your oven before the holiday baking begins. Lots of grease can build up and cause a fire.

Keep an eye on candles when lit, and make sure to blow out when you are not in the room. This can avoid household fires.
