Fixed-rate mortgages continue their free fall, with the 30-year fixed rate mortgage averaging 3.63 percent this week and the 15-year fixed-rate mortgage staying below 3 percent, Freddie Mac reports. I heard there was a gas station in CT that charged $1.99 per gallon and we have the nation's highest gas tax.

Wow! We were at $1.87 a gallon, crept up slightly. There is an APP called GasBuddy. uses your phones GPS and can find the cheapest gas around you. We use it all the time.
