North East Sarasota County is home to a luxurious community of homes located near Singletary and Verna Roads. The total area is 620 acres of former cattle ranch with only 60 units platted originally, to build on estate-size lots of 10 acres or more. However, today there are only 27 Owners in Sarasota Ranch Club.
This lends a feeling of genuine pastoral bucolic wholesomeness to the neighborhoods which complements the Oak Hammocks, ponds, streams and natural wildlife. Spotted in SRC are a variety of deer, rabbits, boar, wild turkey, bobcats and fox!

One of the charming assets of Sarasota Ranch Club is its presence as an Equestrian Community. Nearly half of the Homeowners own horses also. SRC has six miles of maintained bridle path along with natural pristine areas for riding.
The homes are extravagant in scale and design, ranging in size from 3,300sf up to 7,400sf+ and come with 2 beds/4 baths up to 6 beds/7 baths (per the property records). Of the 27 Owners, only half of the properties show improvement or any construction/home built per the Property Appraiser's Records. Deed Restrictions dictate a minimum of 2,400sf as the primary home size. Two cows are permitted, but no chickens. Also, residents can construct two additional outbuildings in the same architectural design as their primary home but cannot have a stand-alone barn without a residence on-site. Homeowners' Association Fees are reasonable at $400 per quarter with the private road reserves very well funded.
