Did you ever have a BLOG play Peek a Boo ?

ar I wrote a blog this morning...and posted it...I thought...the little notice popped up and said it was successfully posted....and then went back to find it with not all the copy I had carefully saved in the drafts and not posted at all...

It was an important blog...(aren't they all ?)  It asked for your help or suggestions in presenting Active Rain to a bunch of new potential members....and what would be your focus...what would be the benefits that you would choose to emphasize ?question marks

Did you ever give such a speech ?  Did you use power point ?  Did you have hand outs ?

I am going to post this as a public post...I  very seldom post "members only" and maybe the blogo-iacs

don't like that so here goes again...

Would appreciate any suggestions....it will help build our community and be available in the "to be built" library or somewhere it can be accessed by others who may be in need of this resource.

Yes it has happened many times. I have even seen it posted and listed and even got a comment and then poof it was gone. I don't know where they went but they never showed up again. I had saved and save and save along the way too. So now if it is really important I write in Google Docs and copy and paste into AR. Then I publish and if it disappears I have it on my clipboard and Google Docs. So frustrating.

Sally and David- I don't think it's happened to me but I always write my posts in Google Docs first, then put them in the AR editor.  BTW.. I had a powerpoint that I'd used for a presentation on AR a few years ago. .. I'm looking for it and will send it to you if I find it.

Sally and David normally what I have in draft posts exactly the same when I take it out of draft, but I did have one about three weeks ago that did not.  Have not had it happen since, but hope this is not a new glitch which is popping up.

Well I guess I'm the lone wolf.  I write all my blogs in Word, check the spelling and grammar.  I simply copy and paste the document.

Sally and David.  Maybe I'm imagining things but I thought I saw this blog and I even commented on it.  Maybe my comment was so bad it made the blog ashamed and disappear!

Good morning Sally. Fortunately, this is one that I have not yet experience and hope that continues. I use Firefox which works very well for me.

I have had that experience, Sally and David, more than once. Most recently, about two weeks ago. I have no answer for you. I've called AR about it and when they don't see a draft, they seem to be able to do nothing about it.
