Yay, it's finally spring! I sit here hoping that this means we won't get yet another freak snowfall, but I am not convinced that we won't. Yesterday we got the bikes off the storage hooks, aired up the tires, located the helmets and the bike locks and tried in vain to remember everyone's combination (now where is that slip of paper?!?!?) It's 6am, the birds are singing, the windows are open (Yes, open!!!) and the house finally is getting rid of that winter funk that comes from being shut up for several months - I really love fresh air smells better!
In a little while, I will go to my Optimist Club meeting, then my BNI meeting, then a meeting at the Red Cross office, then a meeting at MY office, and pray that I get 5 minutes outside to enjoy the weather. Ah well, at least in our great profession we get more opportunity than most to enjoy the great outdoors - running between showings and meetings at different locations. It wasn't that long ago that I had to sit in front of a glass wall for 8 hours and wish I could at least open a window!
