There are 11,532 homes for sale listed by Orlando Realtors® and 7,232 homes listed as contract pending. Of the homes still available for sale, 1,255 are foreclosures and 524 are short sales. Of the homes with contracts pending, 1,347 are foreclosures and 1,588 are short sales.
Too early Orlando real estate sales statistics for August: 2,066 closed sales with a median sales price of $180,000. It appears August sales and prices will continue the year over year trend. The number of sales is not likely to be up 20+% like the last several months, but still up from a year ago Prices look to be up about 9%, which is still very strong.
