Cuthbert
Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post. My intent is to put a smile on your face. Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know. Now sit back and enjoy the post for the day.
Cuthbert was born in New Albany, Mississippi back in 1897. As a schoolchild he excelled in the first grade. He skipped the second grade and did well in the third and fourth grades. Something happened to him and I could not find out why. But during and by the time he entered the seventh grade his decline began and it showed in his schooling. He eventually graduated but he had to repeat the eleventh grade. He attended the University of Mississippi enrolling in 1919 but quit after attending only three years.
As with most of the people I’ve been writing about one would never think that after such a childhood Cuthbert would become what he became. You may know him by William Faulkner. Yes that William Faulkner. He wrote novels among them are (A Fable), (The Sound and the Fury), (That Evening Star) and (Dry September) just to mention a few. So tell me did you know who I was writing about before I told you… well did you?
