Eero
Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post. My intent is to put a smile on your face. Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know. Now sit back and enjoy the post for the day.
Eero was born in Kirkkonummi, Grand Duchy of Finland (don’t ask me that what is written). Anyway so I’ll start your journey when he was a young adult. He studied art at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and later at Yale School of Architecture. During WWII he joined the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) when he drew illustrations for bomb disassembly among other things. After the war he designed furniture for the Knoll Furniture Company. You may know him better as Eero Saarinen. Now I ask you some of his famous designs have included the Washington Dulles International Airport, TWA Flight center and the Tulip chair. But can you tell me what the other famous design is? Why it was the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.
Personally I’ve been in the arch and I did not like it. I can fly 5 miles above the earth, have flown a single engine plane and a helicopter but I did not care to stand on the walkway of the arch. Something about it just gave me the creeps.

Remember to smile. It will make people wonder what you have been up to.
