There are a couple of great foodie events happening around Columbus Ohio this month.
The first is the Culinary Capers Celebrates Ohio. On November 11, 2015 at the Westin Hotel located at 310 South High St. and Columbus is the 22nd annual event featuring cooking demonstrations, fabulous food, to local chefs, signing of cookbooks and some of the best food in the area. Tickets are $110 and reservations are required. The proceeds benefit the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra., Founded in 1978, this orchestra offers a unique classical music experience that inspires people throughout the Columbus area. The event will offer food, beer and wine.
Secondly on November 12 at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is the Foodie Finds. Located at 1777 E. Broad Street in Columbus, this event is $25-$30 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM offering high-end gourmet foods, delicious caviar, fresh oysters, local chefs and all the food paired with delicious wine. There will be hands on events, wine and food pairing tastings, local food experts and chefs demonstrating several recipes. This is put on by Whole Foods Market.
On November 11 is the Wyandotte Wednesdays with happy hour from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Wyandotte Winery. $4 buys you a glass of wine and you can relax, chill out, learn a little bit about the winery and enjoy a fun happy hour.
The Columbus Meat Lovers Tour finishes up this week in German Village at the Schiller Park community Center. For $60, on Thursday, November 12 from 6:00 PM until 9:45 PM at 1069 Jaeger St. you can enjoy some of the delicious meats of Columbus including juicy burgers, famous sausages, award-winning stakes, European-style smoked and cured meats.
