What... Top Producer is great??? No way...Way!

True but embarrassing, I have had Top Producer  for almost 8 years. I used it as an expensive data base system and did not cancel  because I could synch it with my phone allowing me to stay mobile as all of my clients were with me wherever I went. That is all I did with the software. Many, many times I tried to learn what it did but would become frustrated and quit.

Last year a friend of mine gave me their passwords to thier top producer system and I was able to peek at what the program could really do. Wow, what a shock. I saw all of the plans they had and how they used them. Their lead generation systems, letters etc. were amazing.

We quickly mocked what they were doing and low and behold we slowly became more organized. I watched my assistant go from frazzled to calm and organized.  She knows what she needs to do everyday. There is no question what needs to be completed. I also know what I need to do.

Entering your plans is slow and painful but worth it. If you have TP and are frustrated ask TP for training or permission to see someones elses TP. It is a powerful tool.

Julie, I totally agree.  There are several systems in place to help us be more effective at our profession.

I too have just started to utilize a contact management system and I'm wondering how I have survived to this point. I'm useing a new system called BROKERS HELPER. I like it so far. I was told early on in my real estate career that the best system is the one you use. Sounds like yours is working just fine.

Good Luck to all. It has been great for my business. As my assistant has become more comfortable with the daily task our production has increased.

Julie, all the Top Producer trainers say it is powerful if you load the plans. Oftentimes that's where people get stuck. Training is essential.

I have used topprducer for awhile and never to its full capacity.  Since the upgrade to 8i, I find myself using more of its plans and campaigns.  I just wish the html capability in their email was a bit better.

I was finally converted to TP 8i. At first I loved it, then quickly hated it, now I love it again. 8i really isn't that much different. It only has a new skin. A few items are much better to understand. I like the new drag and drop contacts into to-dos, appointments etc.

The check off system is too slow and very annoying. TOP PRoducer if you are listening please make it easier to mark off more than one activity at a time.

On the whole 8i is great and worth the money.

Top Producer wins over other CRM Systems primarily because of its action plans.  I'm hoping that Zoho adds the ability to do email campaigns like the TP action plans.  If it does I'll probably switch our teams over to Zoho.

Thanks for all the comments. TP is a great tool. There new training CD is helpful. We are still refining our plans and letters..it just takes time. Right now there is not a better system out there. The only problem I see is cost.
