Now is the time to enter the housing market. If you have been on the f ence about buying a home or selling your current one, then you should read my blog.

Interest rates are creeping up, but they are still low. When the home values are increasing but are still affordable, then you shouldn't wait.

3 reasons to buy a home this year:

1. Interest rates are still low-They will creep up in 2016. Experts predict that even if the rates hit 6% they are still being considered affordable by historic levels. Call me today and I can put yo with a lender to tell you todays rates.

2.  Homes are still affordabe- In Lane County Oregon they are still affordable for what the cost of living is here in town. I don't believe the home prices will go up unless the inventory remains low. I do believe that builders are going to step in and build a lot of homes in 2016 because of low inventory in Lane County Oregon.

3.  Reap the benefits of being a home owner- You get tax deductions for having a mortgage, you are investing in your own wealth over time. Plus you have control over your own home and can make it your own.
