Last night we had a major thunder storm here in SE PA and I sat on our enclosed porch in the dark just taking it in. Here we are in winter, late February, and we are having a thunderstorm. Usually thunderstorms are events that occur during the warmer Spring and Summer months in this part of the country.
My thoughts then went on to the rain and how it was coming down in bands sideways with the strong winds and how the rainwater was rushing down the street to the drain that would take the water to the local streams and eventually the Delaware River.
Then my thoughts shifted to words, and Active Rain came to mind, and I chuckled that is was definitely an "active rain" event. Then I started to wonder about how the name came about for our real estate community. I do not know the story, but I just wonder if someone or a few people were sitting somewhere during a rain storm and they had a flash to use these two words together to describe a community of dedicated and motivated people helping each other learn, survive, and grow in the world of real estate.
