- tarnished silverware is easy to clean when you use a cake pan lined with aluminum foil. Fill with 8 cups of warm water (150 degrees) mixed with 1/4 cup baking soda and then lay silverware in pan. Awesome and so easy!
- Your chimney will stay clean if you throw a handful of salt in the fire
- Ants hate anything spicy. Sprinkle ground pepper, cayenne, even cinnamon, in their path and you will stop them in their tracks
- Keep candles in the refrigerator for several hours before use. This will slow down dripping and they will last longer
- Flat leftover beer from those holiday parties are great for your gardens. Plants love the yeast
- Have you tried baby wipes on carpet stains. They work awesome
- A handful of rice run through your coffee grinder will sharpen the blades
