Spring has sprung in the housing market for Northeast Johnson County. The biggest challenge home buyers have that are looking to buy their homes in Prairie Village, Roeland Park, Mission, Overland Park and surrounding areas is the lack of inventory.
I have to admit, right now I feel like I am on call 24/7 for our clients. As soon a new listing comes on the market, I am on the phone to my clients to schedule a time to go see the new listing. In all the years I have been in the business I have never encountered such a shortage of inventory compared to the number of buyers looking to buy. Especially in our neighborhood of Northeast Johnson County.
Great market for our Sellers, but very frustrating for our Buyers. It is not unusual to show a Buyer a home the first day on the market and have multiple Offers made on the Day 1. It is also not uncommon to see many if not all of the multiple Offers be for an Offer price over the List Price...Oh Boy!
