How Is The Market Treating You?

By

How is your market area treating you? Are you getting deals? Are the deals harder to work?

You've done the 3-6 mo. comps and all research for your listing then........

I'm finding that  Buyers  are thinking that listings should be even LOWER in the list price EVEN when the comps and the condition support the list price! It's maddening! They certainly know that it is a buyers market and want more, more, more.  Sellers are looking more beatup and bloody than ever. YET....there is light at the end of this longgggggggg tunnel!

The only things I see selling are the short sales, foreclosures, and junker houses.  The retail properties that sell are few and far between especially once you get into the middle income range prices.  A lot of buyers are just sitting on the fence waiting.

The deals are definitely getting harder in many respects. It's tougher for buyers to qualify and when they do many need to be educated regarding submitting reasonable offers in a buyer's market.

Mary Ann, Just wondering, how's your marketing doing lately. Are you beginning to see signs of improvement.

I agree; seems like most everything out there that is selling is reo, and junk. Home inspections on regular market houses is down right now.
