So true...one of the things I have always loved about Active Rain.  Here is a "well done!" to you both for the feature and the endless supply of well written blog posts!

That is so sweet. Yes, positive feedback from your peers in an otherwise lousy or stressful day is always appreciated.

The virtual hugs that I like are the reviews on Zillow.  People really have nothing to gain so I know that they are real.

On ActiveRain, sure there are real hugs. But most members are playing the networking game.  They are looking for future referrals or looking to get other members to come and comment on their blog.  The underlying motive is getting business or getting you to reciprocate.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.  I guess there's a place for cheerleaders who say nice things no matter what, but don't get fooled about what's real.  The reality is what your actual clients thought of you.  Focusing on that will probably get you much further than an echo chamber of fellow agents.

I need a virtual hug right now! I've got a McMansion with five bedrooms that has been on the market for almost 60 days without any showings. We had it appraised before listing it, so price was supposed to be dead on. I'm at a loss what to do, other than lower the price -:(

This is a support group like none other in real estate.  While some agents in your office may not tell you what they think it is not a problem on here!

It's so true. The support we get here is like no other! Congrats on the well deserved Feature!

Hi Sally & David - there is no other forum that you can get support from like AR. Most of us are in the real estate industry and understand what each goes through. We learn from each other and support each other. It simply doesn't get better than that!
