This picture was taken at Christmas last year. Thats me in the black sweater. As many of you may be aware I have been on an awesome but at times crazy journey for the past couple years while in Key West on vacation with my wonderful husband, I was hit by a truck which made it almost impossible to exercise. With that experience pretty much behind me, In March I started a doctor assisted diet plan as I had gained so much weight it just compounded my injuries.
Some may ask what this has to do with real estate well let me explain. I was truly embarrassed, and it has taken me this long to write about it. I only do so after an appointment with a past client this week who really did not recognize me! Wow! What a difference 7 months has made, I have lost 70 pounds (another 30 to go). In real estate it is important to get out and meet people which is one of the things I love about my job, I no longer felt comfortable doing so.
In the middle of this journey I changed companies as I had been searching and nothing felt right. Crazy how things work out, this was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. CENTURY 21 Platinum Properties has turned out to be the best fit for me. Everyone is supportive, outgoing and fun to be around. This has truly become a year of hard work and good decisions. My production is up over 100% over last year, I have lots of energy and I just adopted a beautiful Belgian Malinois to assist me with the rest of my journey but that is a story for another day.
Follow me to continue this journey with me and Flaka my new best friend. I promise it will be a learning experience for all along with a wonderful struggle to become the best person I can be along with celebrating my career as a Realtor.
