I normally try to stay away from the controversial issues that surround us daily but today I just could not help myself. I'm sure I will get some feedback from this post from those that are trying to avoid the very topic on which I speak but I just had to share the news that today is NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY. It is commemorated the first Friday in June and that would be TODAY!! In celebration of this day, Krispy Kreme is giving away one free doughnut to customers.

I'm not sure if our Krispy Kreme here in Huntsville is a participating store but you better believe that I will let you know shortly after lunch time. LOL

Free donut day, oh my. Fortunately, Krispy Kreme went out of business here. They just reopened one location over 49 miles away. At $4.00 a gallon, I don't need the donut.

Kimberly, I just posted about this specail day on my blog. Krispy Kreme went out of business here in RI but Dunkin' Donuts stores are offering a free donut with the purchase of any beverage.
