It was the day before Christmas and all through the house

It was the day before Christmas and my dog Mia decided to climb under my cottage and eat rat poison.

I had a full day planned to visit clients and dropping off gifts, but Mia my 90lb Mastiff had other plans. So we spent most of the day wrestling in the vet examine room getting her to drink down her medicine. The lady vet gave up and left me to wrestling with Mia. Well, all ended well, dang dog, glad she is doing better.

I did make it up to Kula to visit my clients Brian and Peggy and drop off some fresh banana bread my wife made and fresh oranges from our trees. I love this time of year in Kula, Peggy gave me some clippers and I helped myself to some beautiful Protea flowers, just love them.

William, it was in a plastic container with section for rats to walk through and it was in a fenced in area, she dug under the fence.

I immediately exclaimed, OH no!!! and thought about not continuing to read, Steven, but am thrilled--THRILLED--that your pup was A-OK. I can't tell you how many times I, too have sweated over what my Goldens have eaten...because they eat everything. We contend with salmon poisoning every year and I do my best to educate my clients who have dogs about this yearly (potenial for)disaster if dogs get into dead salmon.

Anyway, say hello to your part of the world, one of the most amazingly mind-blowing places on earth. My hubby and I will be back someday!
