Why you need to embrace your competition – Reason 2 of 5

I have no problem in giving away what I have learned about this business.  Like you said there are no secrets

WE may be in compettion with them but we also need them.

There really are no secrets, and I have no problem sharing how I do things with others!

And conversely, I've asked others in the industry how they do this or that. I'm open to new ideas!

There are people insecure in what they do believing they have secrets...oh not.

Sharing is the secret to success! If you share with others people will be drawn to you like a magnet and it will be amazing the people who will support you!

Good morning, Khash Saghafi there are NO secrets when it comes to sales....any type of sales.... and I share whatever I know and whatever I do.... this helps some and plays head games with others!!  not intentioally, but that's what often happens... I throw some off their game, if their game is not working well.... much of what we do can be considered a "game"....nothing that hurts anyone unless they allow it to.... those are not real players.

Khash- I have to go back and read #1 but I do love this one. Many years ago when I was in sales and managed an office, I felt so competitive with the manager of the other office. I hated feeling that way. When we both finally let go and became open books, that was when we started enjoying our work and we all grew. 

Thanks for your post, Khash Saghafi. Working WITH other agents is the best way to learn things and get things done - which is in your client's best interest!

Hi Khash - and Active Rain is a good example of the sharing ethos. Just look at all we learn and enjoy here while sharing with others.

I share copywriting tips with my friends on Active Rain, but do need to find some other copywriters to share with as well. There aren't that many of us in the real estate arena.

We all become much better as individuals, and as a profession, by sharing and learning from each other, both the good and the bad. AR is a great example of that!

So true Khash!  Sharing creates an environment that raises the bar for everyone!

I lay it out there in every blog I write in attempt to share what I know with other agents. Definitely, there are no secrets.

Further, I never worry about sharing my information because nobody will ever execute it in exactly the same way that I would do it, because nobody else is ME.

My Big Secret: I draw by HAND, not computer!!

Now I need to find the rest of the series. You are such a positive force of nature. Go conquer the world. ;-)
