Now that Chassy Eastep is a licensed agent in our office and has been for about 1 1/2 years, it's time for me to take some time off and pursue some loved hobbies.
Fishing has always been somewhere on that list. If I haven't been in a while, it seems to be at the top of the list. This nice bass was caught locally here in Southeast Oklahoma. It's a freshwater Largemouth Bass. The Largemouth Bass is a Black Bass, in fact, it is the largest of the Black Basses.
This one was a pleasant surprise. We had been fishing from shore for catfish and one had taken my line into weeds and hung it up. So we took the paddle boat out for a while to get on the water and unhook my line. I grabbed a pole that had been rigged with some new plastic short worms or grubbies... and this was my reward... out in the middle in deeper water... just playing to see how the new fishbait was going to look coming through the water.
I think I hooked Don's fish... he had hooked a really nice one last weekend and it had escaped.
Fishing in Southeast Oklahoma, in particular in McCurtain County...it's not uncommon for some really nice fish to be in stock ponds, rivers, creeks, or local lakes.
Why not own your own piece of paradise here? A nice rural few acres with a fishing pond? Something near a river? Possibly a live creek on the property?
Call me or Don at Integrity Real Estate Services or Call Chassy Eastep.. She's our granddaughter ... she can talk fishing!
