It’s hard for me to believe but 12 years ago today, I joined a community that continues to have an impact on my life.

On February 6, 2008, I became a member of the ActiveRain community. I had no idea what I was getting into!
There was no mentor to suggest joining. Instead, while doing research on various websites, I saw a logo for ActiveRain at the bottom of their pages.
I had no clue what the heck ActiveRain was but I clicked on it and haven’t left since.
Because of what I learned here, I was able to grow my business through my networking with local real estate groups and my blogs.
I did not have to spend money for someone to tell me about SEO or how to rank high with Google.
Because of what I learn through YOUR blogs about the real estate profession, local rules, regional differences, oops moments, and the ups and downs of it, I feel more assured when speaking with my clients as well as the agents I meet.

The site has changed tremendously through the years, but you know that.
Some of the rah-rah may be missing and the hijacked posts are almost a thing of the past but the essence is still here...support, compassion, and caring.
YOU are why I am here and continue to be here. I have learned so much and have made real friends here, some I’ve met, and others I can only hope to meet someday.
