Resurrection Sunday April 12, 2020 Stay At Home
This Resurrection Sunday has been a very quiet one. The way Covid-19 has hit our nation and world, I imagine that this has been a different Resurrection Sunday for everyone. Praise God that He is still in control and knows exactly what is going on. It is a difficult time for many people and my heart goes out to those that have been hit with not only the medical problems but economic ones that go with this time.
Don and I have been maintaining our distance from everyone as much as possible during the pandemic. When we go into town, we keep our masks in our pocket so we can pull them out and put them on if needed. I've finally tried the pick-up service at Walmart for groceries and was quite pleased with it.. it was a blessing to me and I'm sure I will continue to use it even when this virus season passes.
Jesus sacrified for us by coming to earth and living among us and giving His life for our salvation so we could live in His Kingdom and belong to Him. It's a little confusing for me as to the actual day that He arose. The dates of Nisan 14 and Nisan 16 seem to be when he was crucified and when he arose but matching that with our calendar is where my confusion sets in....
Anyway, I am hopeful that each one of you had a very blessed Resurrection Sunday and found some time to celebrate what Christ did for us!
