Life will hit you hard and gives you numerous trying times. But once we fall down, there is no other way but UP.
Coming, Going or Looking for Direction?
We are several months into the nationwide shutdown. Any prior planning that may have written down at the first of the year has gone to the wayside. It was originally designed to gage my business success for 2020.
Admittedly, sometimes, it feels like I am coming and going at the same time. Within a week, our 6-year old Gbaby boy Ruger and his mom moved to Vegas, sweet 2-year old Kenslee Mae and her mom and dad moved to Arizona and my stepfather, who I recently connected with again has also moved to another state.
Two days ago, my beloved Uncle Stan passed away. Not because he had the Wuhan virus but from being isolated in a re-habilitation facility once the shutdown was announced. Unable to visit with his family for several months, his birthday passed with little notice, pushing him further into depression and dementia.
All these things can weigh heavily on the heart and soul. Rather than being gloomy, I write, attempting to brighten other people's days because it takes the stress and worry away temporarily and into a better state of mind.
Here are some tips to help avoid feeling lost:
- Start an herb garden
- Take a brisk walk
- Do a painting project
- Put your thoughts to paper
- Check on family members
- Talk with clients regularly
- Read a series inspiring books
- Take an online real estate seminar
- Put your plan into action to find a direction again!
The only way to go is UP!
