In the spring, I had all the plants lined up for the pots on my patio. I was especially excited to place a colorful Caladium in a pot with a dark red Ipomeum (Sweet Potato Plant.)

CaladiumAll was good for a while, then the Caladium began to wilt and appeared to pass to another plane.  But then, a few weeks ago, what should rear its brassy head, but the Caladium. Looking bold and beautiful, it began to rise out of its earth-bound plot.  I could not believe what I saw.  Well, I could believe it, because plants are known to do their own thing and in their own time.  Like a lot of people.  It's all good.

Are we having more technical problems?  I'm a little gun shy after recent AR problems.

I've had similar experiences in my garden this year.  For example, I had never tried to grow Sunflowers before.  I put seeds in the ground, and it took forever for them to sprout.  And, then when they did, they didn't seem to grow very much.  And, then, all of a sudden they jumped in height toward to sky.  I still don't have blossoms though.

I only tried to grow sunflowers once, and some kind of larva got into all the seeds. Never tried it again.  A whole field of sunflowers is awesome, though! Good luck with yours!
