The Question

The Question:when a customer gives a Agent/Broker earnest money how much time does the Agent/Broker have to deposite the money in to an account.

The wonderful response of the first person to answer them was----

(NAME NOT POST TO PREVENT EMBARASMENT)

***I don't know the answer in PA. Try looking it up online.***

Here is my rant --- Where do you think they were? They were online at Active Rain looking for an answer!

If you don't know the answer to the question don't feel obligated to tell the person asking that you don't know!

They are not asking you specifically they just want an intelligent answer.

Has anyone else seen strange answers posted on the Q&A board?

James,

I flagged this post. I also wrote a lengthy answer but is dissappeared when I went to flag:(

I completely agree with your post and would like to add that we need more people from each state "watching the store"....Also, I disagree with an agent from one state answering questions for another state.

The laws, customs and general information are different and should be answered by someone in that State!

I just commented on another post that was similar. I don't understand why a member of AR would try to answer something that they have no knowledge about. It is beyond me

Scratching my head on this one.  Guess they hadn't had their second cup of morning coffee before posting.

100% representation means NEVER DUAL AGENCY !

From a different state?

How disagreeable is it when the agent/poster is from a different country? Filter the questions to a Canadian Province, Ontario for instance, and see who's posting.

Haven't been to the Q & A yet, James, but I would have to agree with you that the answer you are ranting about is pretty ridiculous.

I haven't looked at the Q & A Board yet.  I'm afraid I'll be tempted to answer and find my answer in a post like this one :)
