When there is a wireless air card WITH a laptop it is the most functional. When I am in my car, parked anywhere, I can check e mail, update listings, and continue to sell my product. Regardless of where I am my ability to sell is never hindered. By having the ability to sell while mobile makes me truly a Mobile Sales Operation.
Just tonight I was at dinner with a customer who purchased commercial liability insurance from me for their Aviation Parts Manufacturing business. We were at a Wild Tuna Sushi in Naperville, IL. I saw the phone number was from San Diego, CA. I answered the phone and a nice lady who works for a college research department stated she was going to Baja soon. She is interested in renting so as to avoid cancellation charges. She is a very smart woman who does not wish to incur the binding contract cancellation charge at the end of her need for this product.
Our ability to rent the air card at a competitive price for short term rental will fit her needs 100%. I believe the real reason for her final decision to use our firm is the personal service I will provide. By answering the phone when she called I truly separated myself from all the other companies.
This lesson was taught to me by my friend at www.optimum-interactive.com who states that personal service is still the best thing at the point of sale. He is so right and I am so happy that I made a decision to post my phone number all over the site.
