I LOVE REAL ESTATE

By
Real Estate Agent

Let me say this right up front,

I LOVE The Real Estate Industry.

I also suspect that there are tens of thousands of others out there that feel the same as I do.  While so many are focusing on the state of the economy and the crumbling real estate market, I choose to focus on why I got into real estate in the first place.

I LOVE The Real Estate Industry.

You see, no one ever promised that being in this industry was going to be easy. No one ever promised that I would be able to make a decent salary without putting in much effort.  Right now, things have gotten a little difficult.  However,

I LOVE TheReal Estate Industry .

In what other industry can you have such a positive affect on someone's life?  In what other industry can you help a family onto the road of financial independence?  In what other industry can you create a wonderful lifestyle not only for yourself but for your clients? In what other industry can you truly make your clients dreams come true?

I LOVE The Real Estate Industry.

So even though there are rumblings of a recession, countless news stories on the terrible state of the economy and bad news about the real estate market, I say this......

A JOB WORTH DOING IS WORTH DOING WELL

Now is the time to learn, earn your certifications, work on your business plan, develop your business model, study, ask questions, find solutions, etc.  Don't worry about all of the naysayers.....they are leaving this industry in droves.  As for me....I am staying.  I will be here, serving the needs of my clients.

Everyone have a wonderful day.

Great post Leander.  We can either focus on whining about the lack of business or the fact that it is more difficult than a few years ago or we can focus on developing new business.  The former is easier, but the latter is much more rewarding.

How true is this...  I have said this several times myself Leander (in comments though).  This has actually made me better.  I have been able to fine tune some of my skills and had to actually show people who I was.  Today, you have to work a little more for your business, but that just means marketing.  Those that are not good with marketing have seen their way to other full time careers.  I wish them the best, but that also opens up the door for me.  Based on your posts and your positive attitude, I can tell you love what you do.  Great Post!

Leander - beautifully said!  I also tell everyone I'm in my dream job!!  You are so right in that we do make a difference in peoples lives, and they count on us.  Oh - I took the opportunity to go and get my ABR.  Had been talking about doing that and I had the time.  It was great.

I am a new Agent, have had my license for about a month now.  I too love Real Estate.  I am so excited about leaning all aspects of this profession.  I have always wanted to do this but for some reason never thought I could.  I met someone who inspired me and the rest is history.  My plans are to open my own brokerage within the next five years.

Love Active Rain, I am learning so much from you guys.

Things are going great for me and I must attribute that to my love for RE.  If I can maintain during this "time" I can only imagine what the good times will bring.  It's exciting and I'm excited about it.
