Kinda Cute, But...

Earlier today, I saw one of these cute little numbers across the road and just had to check it out.

My thoughts were, it's kinda cute, but will it get bigger as it gets older?

I saw one of those tooling down the road yesterday.  Had a big semi behind it - heck made me feel uncomforable!

I had actually looked into buying one of these but there is like a 3 year waiting list. So you'll be seeing alot more of them in the coming years.  Supposedly the safety rating matches that of Mercedes C-class Sedan.

Here's the link to their website.

I saw one of these cars parked while I was on vacation and just had to take a peek inside! They're very cute, but I think the "trunk" would only fit about 4 bags of groceries!

Morning Michael,

They do look odd, because of their size, on the road.  I wonder how much leg room they have. At just over 6'2 the knees and steering wheel sometimes collide.

Where's the other one? I always thought roller skates came in pairs.

Michael, I want one.  Seriously.  It would be great in my area for short trips.  I'm not sure I would want to drive it during the snowy times but otherwise it would be a $$ saver!

I want one too!  Actually, I wish I didn't need a vehicle.  Just stick me out in the woods in a warm cabin and high-speed internet, chocolate and the occasional naughty boy and I'd be happy.  You should get the new tiny Mercedes.

Susie, Da Boss is thinking about it! I had laugh when he got a rag out and went back to wipe the drool off the hood...

Darn, someone else beat me to the roller skate crack. But, I imagine in a few years those that drive these will be suing the insurance companies and government to make people driving not just SUV's and trucks but today's small and midsize cars because these little hot wheels don't fare as well in a collision with the bigger ones.

Michael, We saw a lot of them in Europe a few yrs back.  Cute, yes.  I can't help but wonder what happens in a serious accident.  Maybe I'll research it.

All you need is a second one of these cars and you would have a really cool pair of roller skates!

Scott, that is such a cool pic. They do look like the strap on roller skates I had when I was little.

No it doesn't grow on you. I agree that it's cute, and if I commuted from greem hills to Vanderbilt, I might want one. But other that that. I don't have a need for it. Your prius is more fuel efficient, and has more room. A mini cooper looks better, and has a stick. I'll have to pass, but it is cute.
