LIVING IN AUBURN-OPELIKA, AL - Week of 102308 First Draft Pick of HOMES for Sale

By
Real Estate Agent with First Realty Auburn

IT'S A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE! The Auburn-Opelika area is the HEART of LEE COUNTY, AL. In 1836, the wilderness land captured the hearts and imagination of settlers who established a colony here, which Legislature approved and incorporated as Auburn in 1839. The land is rich with stories from these times, and also marked with the imprint of missionaries and Creek Indians that preceded the colonists. With it's comparatively low taxes and strong work ethic, the Auburn-Opelika area is perfectly primed for expansion, and, in the past two years, has gained national attention as a prime location for business growth.

Here is my pick of the week of HOMES FOR SALE, (Click on each house to enlarge listing data) wonderful places to live, in Auburn-Opelika, Alabama. YOU ARE WELCOME to CONTACT ME or FIRST REALTY, for more info on these or any homes for sale in Lee County. We look forward to Welcoming You HOME

Hello Mara,

Thank you so much for your comment about my blog on OktoberFest in Big Canoe, GA. We are pretty new AR members and fairly new to blogging, so it was great fun to get a few comments.

It's clear that you appreciate and love the Auburn-Opelika the way we love Big Canoe.  By all means, please let me know when you might be headed down our way and I'd love to give you the $5 tour of Big Canoe.

Cheers,

Margo Vallone

Mara, I loved the picture you have, it reminds me of Boston, we came  about twelve years ago to LA and the Brownstones in the South End of Boston looked just like that.

Mara- If I ever made Alabama my home again- I'd love to take a look at the homes of the week. I like the one on Turkey Spur (in part because I would get a kick out of seeing it on my address label).
