Has anyone had their short sale contract changed midstream by the sellers' mortgage company right before closing and the loss mitigation contact didn't inform you? I have a case where the loss mitigation contact for the mortage company agreed upon the terms, and then out of the blue, I get a fax for closing instructions with a different date a month before we are supposed to close! Help! What do I do? They called and said the case will be closed and it will go to sheriff's sale now....
