Great fundraising idea -- who doesn't buy poinsettias this time of year? Just remember to keep them away from curious cats and dogs since they are poisonous to our little friends. The sap can also be a skin and eye irritant to children, and temporarily shut down the vocal chords if gotten in the mouth. The beautiful colors are a natural attractant to the young and the curious.

So true Russel.  Thanks for sharing.    I put my poinsettia in the spare bedroom and close the door when I'm not home so that my kitty cant get to it!
