At this point, almost everyone in real estate knows who Keller-Williams Realty is. After all, it is the fourth larges brokerage in the United States...with over 73,000 agents. What's most remarkable is that this company only started in the mid-80's. The other big players in residential real estate have been around for much longer. Coldwell-Banker started in the 1930's. The growth of the company can be attributed to the amzing visionaries that started, and that still guide, Keller Williams. Gary Keller's books are in just about every real estate office in the country, whether Keller Williams, Prudential, Coldwell Banker, or anywhere else.
What most people don't know is that a commercial real estate arm of Keller Williams has just been launched. The company has had grssroots commercial agents and offices for years. There has been a movement within some in the company to start a separately branded commercial division for several years. After all, the executive leadership and the referral and other support that more than 73,000 agents in more than 650 offices brings to the equation is staggering.
You'll be hearing about "KW Commercial" soon enough. The company has been soft launched for a couple of months or more, but will be rolled out in earnest at the company's Family Reunion in Orlando in February. There are commercial breakout sessions, classes (one of which I am co-teaching), and much, much more.
