"Dancing on the Ceiling"

Remember this tune by Lionel Richie? Or how about the line ..."Now if you excuse me while I kiss kick the sky" If you're not familiar with this line, its taken from the song "Purple Haze" , which is often cited as one of Jimi Hendrix's greatest songs.  These two songs were runnin' through my head when I first looked up and noticed this peculiarly placed footprint. By the way, I was in a crawlspace looking up at the subflooring.  They both seemed to fit appropriately, no?

You saw a footprint where?

Now, how the sam hill did it get there?  And why in such a strange place?  Who knows.  One can only try and guess.  Maybe when the house was being built, a worker stepped on the plywood and made the print.  Or just maybe a plumber, lying on his back, got furious that his work wasn't cooperating with him, and he kicked at the floor in a fit of plumber's rage. In any event, I couldn't help but share this oddity with the AR world.

That's one of those things that makes you look twice. No doubt someone stepped on the plywood prior to using it for this purpose.

Perhaps the plywood was on top of a pile stored in the garage or somewhere.

One Abraham Lincoln story has it that he played a practical joke on his family.  He was a jokester as a young man, and loved to tell jokes as President.  He took shoes on a pole and created muddy footprints coming in the front door, up a wall, across the ceiling, and down another wall to across a floor to sit resting under the table waiting for a meal.  I'll bet his mother made him clean it all up, which probably took much longer than creating it!

Vince and Jay:

I agree, I think you're both right.  Jay, love the Abe story.  Sounds like something I would've done as a kid.

Hope all is well.

The folks at CSI should be able to help you determine how it got there -- LOL.
