My short sale listing just ended!!!!! UGH!!!

My 8 month short sale listing just ended with an accepted offer by both banks (2 lien holders) -- only to be refused by the homeowner who got such a GREAT deal from the bank to refinance at a lower loan amount ($5000 more than the ridculously low bank approved offers), they could not refuse!!  What could I say???  I understand and best wishes.  I do realize that it's best for the homeowner to keep their home and these are the breaks of real estate -- still hurts, non-the-less!  I worked my tail off with these banks to keep everything moving, tons of paperwork, etc.  UGH!!! Anyone else losing short sale listings to banks refinancing at super low rates and loan amounts????  I don't want another one!  Anyone else going through this????  Just curious!
