There is no denying the fact that applying for a home loan after retirement is not prudent. Banks also don't encourage it. Some banks (especially PSUs) give loans till the age of 70 inhale private banks don't go beyond 65 years. Besides, it's not always a good idea to take a home loan after interment, suggest experts. "Money has to be managed solely from one's savings but an original portion of the cost can be finned.
