Hell no!  I absolutely HATE podcasts and am quite unhappy still that some people I follow ditched their newsletter for podcasts.  I don't have 30 or 60 minutes to listen to someone talk about something.  Plus, you can't easily search podcasts to find the item you need to review again.

Give me a transcript of the podcast or an email.  I can read it at my pace, skip all the bull crap fluff that takes up the first 5-10 minutes of darn near every podcast and get straight to what I came there for.  I can read much faster than most people can talk and can burn through their podcast transcript in a matter of minutes.

Podcasts are great if you have a long commute and someone else is driving.  Otherwise you're spending more concentration on the material than the road or you're missing half the pod cast because you're focused on driving.

Time is valuable, to do a podcast right you really need to invest some quality time.

Must ask yourself, what is the ROI on this venue for a real estate agent?

Podcasting has been mainstream for most the last 6-7 years. Sadly, so many people have a podcast these days, I know 2 dozen agents alone with one, most have less than 100 listeners due to the shear volume of choices by so many unknowns. Unless you are a Joe Rogan or a Brian Buffini & Company though, it's hard to get a big enough following these days to monetize it beyond branding and lead gen. I do get leads from mine, I've hosted 2 podcasts over the last 6 years.

This is not the place for this. It should be a regular blog post.

Think if everyone on this platform asked for a post/video review? There are plenty of FB groups that can help with this also.

I did my first in 2005 . . . I had a recording studio in those days next door to my RE office. I worked in radio for a long while and I'm pretty lazy about 'on the air for free' stuff . . . LOL

My ROI came more better from other things more suited to my business model.

But if you enjoy it and you're getting business from it, do it to it.

I don't have your players handy so I did not listen - but my biggest complaint about podcasts is bad audio quality so hopefully yours is awesome.

Ken Jones has his, does a good job . . .

I am not podcasting. I don't typically listen to them, so never thought of starting one. Kudos to you for finding something that works!

I was a guest on my broker's podcast... Not sure of the benefit to me other than a nice little self reflection but it was fun to do. LOL

Podcasting is great and has been popular and impactful for at least 5 or 6 years. I was considering starting one in 2016, but it's a bit beyond my confort zone. That aside, I've been a guest on several and will probably do some more soon.

Obviously, many of the good ones started well before that. I love Pat Flynn's and Nick Loper's  I think they started around 2010 or so.

In this ocean of information of all sorts, I can't imagine that someone would become a loyal regular listener of a RE podcast for a long time.

If it works for you, keep it on:) Everyone should do what they like the most and what is the most beneficial for their business.
