ANOTHER VIEW OF THE CITY DURING THE DAY Here is a picture of downtown Phoenix from a different view. I went to the Arizona Science Center with my son on Friday for a class visit. I had a great time with my son. We spent the whole day learning about science and our soloar system. I have to admit that I took a little siesta during the Planetarium movie. However, the rest was well needed to keep up with my group of kids assigned to me. So, we ended up on the top floor of this building. I took a clear photo of the buildings in this picture. I have never seen it from this angle. I just wanted to share this picture with he AR community today. Phoenix is growing and people are coming to live here from all over the world.   Vegas Bob has been working on a Commercial Construction job in North Las Vegas for 2 weeks now, 6 days per week 10 hours per day. Well VB and several other men were asked if they wanted to work this Sunday and VB said ... YES! If VB works this Sunday it will be (Double Time) and this job being a Union job VB will make enough money this Sunday to pay for his round trip ticket to Thailand ... VB is very excited and while he is working this Sunday he will be thinking about the last time he was in Thailand in 2010.   It's getting around that time of the year when Vegas Bob starts shopping for Airline Tickets to South East Asia. The best time to fly to Myanmar/ Burma or Thailand is January or February, the price of the tickets at this time is the cheapest. I found round trip tickets from Los Angeles California to Bangkok Thailand for around 860 dollars. This is a reasonable price and VB & Nu Nu will be flying out around the first of second week in January 2012. If there anyone that may be interested in meeting us there? We will be staying for around 45 days, and just relaxing, taking in the SUN and VB will be taking photographs & videos.  The "Man with the Golden Gun" ... one of my favorite James Bond Classics!  North East of Phuket Thailand are some of the most beautiful islands in the World, like Phi Phi Island & James Bond Island just to name two. There are also many islands around Phi Phi & James Bond Island that are very secluded paradises with white sand beaches and very comfortable warm aqua-blue waters.  Vegas Bob had the chance to visit these islands in Thailand early 2010 and can't wait to go back, we are hoping in Fall of this year 2011 to visit again.  Here is a short video that I took on the back side of James Bond Island where the "Man with the Golden Gun" was filmed.    This photograph above was taken of a temple placed on a huge rock on a beach in Myanmar South East Asia. There are around 5-6 main lights hanging around this temple piece, where the other lights came from I have no idea, where the color blue came from I have no idea because the lights were clear.  Every once and a while VB runs into very strange photographs like this with orbs, prisms and very strange entities showing up on the photos.  On our visit to Thailand VB wanted to boat to different islands around Phuket, James Bond Island and Phi Phi Island where the movie "The Island was filmed.  Well VB was so excited about going there and remembered how peaceful the setting was in the movie, but when we arrived there ... well it looked like I wasn't the only one that wanted to see it.   It was so Hot there that the sand was burning my feet and the tourists were everywhere like a colony of ants.   Later that evening though we spent a couple nights on another island and all the boats and tourists went back to Phuket. Just as its ranking for safety has jumped dramatically, however, it seems a good bet that Gilbert will continue to ascend in the overall livability ratings as well. For those who would like to come to Gilbert, there are a wide range of good housing options available, and housing prices vary significantly despite the fact that all of the city's neighborhoods are safe, clean, attractive, and close to good schools.    Here are several photographs that were taken of Elephants holding up tourist with their trunks in Thailand.      Thailand has different laws, and different insurance claims then we do in the United States. If one of these elephants squeezed and crushed one of these tourists, well I guess their out of luck insurance wise.      Which means you wouldn't see one of these monsters picking up VB and holding him up with their trunks! 07/15/2011
