Great article BY Danny West on being a Landlord to ex-cons- I don't think I'm ready for this final disappointment Seattle, granted the Property management business is plenty hard enough as it is! Hey Gang- Can we talk, I just left a wonderful home owner that wants to rent out her rrecently passway Aunts property. I will call her aunt fluffy,she was in agreement with market level price,which I was Little shocked,but I try not forecast what going on in my brain when the client is talking I try to be a pleasant and carry on with our necessity.

I think we have taken the wrong approach to life and change. I have read and Listen to all the dome and gloom I'm going to about how bad it is. It's not really a silver lining, but I realized the other day that, as tough as 2009 has been property owners and property managers, I will have some good lessons from it to help me in the future. The thing is, when markets are booming, marketing a property management company to new clients can be tough, because people think it's easy and there are 6 tenants for every unit (not so much, but more on that later). Todays Seattle Times led with the unsettling question as to what's next in 2008? The article outlines some expectations of modest price depreciation, longer times on market, and tougher negotiations with interested buyers. To that, they add growing economic concerns over a national recession. In the end, the conclusion is to be patient in weathering the storm.
