renting: My Brother Asked Me "Is There Any Advantage To Renting?"

A couple of weeks ago my brother called me and said he needed to move. I told him I would come by the house and we would discuss his option and see what he wants to do. He is currently renting with a few friends of his. They call it "the bachelor pad" but looks like a couple of the bachelors are deciding to tap out. We started off looking at rentals because I didn't want to be the typical agent/brother and force the idea of purchasing on him.
