It's a big year for New Milford, we are celebrating 50 years of our Christmas trees on the green! A tradition started by New Milford resident Walter Shutte, and one we have all enjoyed over the years. We owe a debt of gratitude to Walter, and of course the United Methodist Men of the New Milford United Methodist Church in New Milford. They volunteer their time and talents, they cut down the trees for us and place them on the green. I know they make my holiday season every year!
