appraisal: Johnston County’s 2019 Revaluation and Assessment of Property: What You Need to Know - 08/02/17 01:19 PM

 
Every eight years North Carolina counties are required to conduct a revaluation to distribute the overall tax burden throughout the county in a way that is fair and equitable, and based on current property values. The 2019 Revaluation for Johnston County is currently underway and the effective date for the revaluation is January 1, 2019, at which point all real property values will be updated to the newly appraised values.
