Design2Sell has just purchased a company truck. The design team is so excited about this purchase but the moving team is just ecstatic! Our head mover Mendez jumped for joy when he got a glimpse of his new ride. The team can't wait to get it on the road and looks forward to utilizing it for our future projects. Wednesday, December 18 was an interesting day for our company. Indeed, Barbara received several dealmakers from Atlanta and around for presenting Home Design 2 Sell and for explaining the advantages for sellers to have recourse to a Home Staging company to make the best possible deal.
And in the end, even if it wasn’t the biggest meeting of this kind for the company, it was a great success! In the audience, the 26 dealmakers, include these who had ever work with home staging companies seemed to be very interested by the speech.

Design2Sell had the pleasure of attending this Fall’s High Point Market in Greensboro, North Carolina. High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world. The event is held every six months with thousands of attendees coming to view and buy the latest products in the industry. Barbara, along with Design2sell interior designer, Lisa Uihlein and Shelby Adamson, explored the market and got a glimpse of some of the fresh and new designs.

Design2Sell recently created an exhibit inspired by the movie “The Sound of Music” at The Next Cool Event, a creative showcase of local vendors and designers. On Feb. 17, 2012, “The Sound of Music” creative team unveiled a unique interpretation of the grand entry way in the Von Trapp family home as seen in the classic 1965 movie. Guests of the industry event were dazzled with a modern environment featuring a blend of Austrian and German décor reminiscent of the original foyer from of the famous film.

This week Design2Sell participated in a webinar by Sherwin-Williams. Their Colormix 2012 presentation forecasted various colors and themes that we would be seeing more of in 2012. The foundation for the 2012 hot color wheel is nature inspired. Life blood reds, watery blues, growing greens, and natural neutrals. Overwhelmingly, the focus was on red, and its variations. Look out for purples. oranges, and bold color combinations! If you don't love red, no worries, you can still incorporate small accent pieces in 2012's hot new color palate!

A beautiful woman in a million dollar dress looks unfinished without accessories and make-up. The same goes for your home. A gorgeous home must have accessories and some pizzaz.
