It's an age old question in this business I know, but from time to time it bears discussion again since new sellers, many of who are first time sellers, come into the market every day. The answer is really quite simple. The "job" of the list agent is to effectively market and promote your home so that other agents will show it! Most reputable lenders will let buyers know in advance what is expected of them during the loan process and my recommendation is that you follow that advice! Too often there are avoidable delays because the buyer did not fully understand the ramifications of not turning in something that the lender has asked for.
